Tender Touch Moving & Storage is a Certified Mover
with the Canadian Association of Movers, the highest standard
achievable within the association. In addition we are an accredited
business with the Better Business Bureau and part of their
reliability program for the past 10 years.
Our local moving service is quite unique. You can always
count on a uniformed, friendly, courteous, professional crew and logo'd truck to arrive at
your home on time, barring weather or traffic conditions with a clean and fully equipped 5
ton truck for all your moving needs. This includes for use on move day,
four complimentary wardrobes and four large picture cartons, as well as, two
complimentary shrink wraps and two new mattress bags to prevent soiling. In
addition we will be bring, 12 rubber floor runners to protect your hardwood, ceramic and
carpeted floors; banister rail coverings to protect your railings and sufficient furniture
blankets to protect your furniture, which we wrap & unwrap in the home, preventing
damage while the furniture is being carried to and from the truck. In addition, all
furniture with glass will be further protected with cardboard on top of the pad, in the
areas where the glass is located.

supplies check out our selection of cartons, we can deliver them right to your
door. On local moves we are available to pack a few cartons or your entire home the
choice is yours.

If you have flexibility with your move date, try booking
between the 3rd to the 25th of the month as this is considered our mid month discount
period.

Time |
Local moves are based on an hourly rate depending on the
time of the month plus travel time. Travel time is the time it takes to arrive at your
residence from our warehouse and the time it takes to return once the job has been
completed. Within the Greater Toronto area, we have a minimum one-hour travel time,
outside the city limits travel time will vary depending on the distance of the move.
During certain peak time periods, a deposit may be required
to secure your booking.
The above estimates are only averages and may vary
depending on the actual size of your home, weather, traffic, and organization on the
customer's part and especially on the access to the residence.
When booking an afternoon time slot,
we can only give an estimated start time. Actual start time will depend on the
completion of the prior move.
Local services are offered only within the
Greater Golden Horseshoe, which is approximately 1 hr in each direction from Toronto and
would include any moves going up to 12 hrs drive to or from these locations.
