Types of Long Haul Moves
Split Shipment: Is the more cost
effective way of moving because you are sharing the ride with other
families, and therefore splitting the cost of travel. Each
shipment is color coded, inventoried, and separators are used for
accuracy of delivery.
This method is the most commonly used by us and
other moving companies. Delivery with this service takes longer than
"Exclusive Use", usually set up over a spread such as 5 to 14 days or

Exclusive Use: Quite unique to Tender
Touch Moving. "Exclusive Use", means the truck is yours and no one else's
belongings will be included in the shipment. Your shipment will still be inventoried with
this service. The only difference is that your shipment will arrive as
quickly as the roads will take us there. This service is
available to almost anywhere in North America.
Moving Cost
Split Shipment: Is based on the
ACTUAL SCALE WEIGHT of the shipment and the total mileage
to your destination point. Additional transportation charges
apply such as origin, long carry, piano, flights of stairs, elevator,
off route, interlining to a smaller truck if required due to access
etc. These charges are minor compared to the moving

Exclusive Use: The cost for this service
is at an hourly rate. Hourly charges are for all loading, unloading and a pre-determined time for travel and drive time based on
distance traveled.
All surcharges for exclusive service are the same as on a
local
move.

With our door to door service you're
treated like gold all the way. You can leave everything to us and

Before loading your shipment we create an accurate itemized inventory
of your goods. Each article of furniture is carefully wrapped in
a quilted moving pad to ensure it travels and arrives safely to your
new residence.
Upon delivery we re-do the entire process in
reverse - removing the padding from all your furniture, bringing
everything into your new location, placing the items in the room of
your choice and verifying the inventory list once again with you to
make sure about the condition of items received and everything arrived
as originally listed.

professional loading crews and the most modern technology and
equipment, with sophisticated tie-down logistics to secure the ride,
protecting your furniture from shifting, the elements and accidental

Storage
At your request, we can store your belongings in
our fully climatized and secured facility for as long as you may need
it.

Supplies:
When booking we will supply you with complimentary
mattress bags for your move. Please ensure we are aware if you
require any additional items like wardrobes, picture boxes, or other
packing supplies etc. for your move
as these items are not supplied on long haul moves and can be arranged
for delivery at the same time as the bags.
